attaced is a tarball containing most of the patches needed to get fb fully working with 2.0.5
I have also begun serious work for the next minor release that adds improved SMPEG support, tighter integration with SDL_mixer, and if I get the time, a sprite library or two. I'm working on a general image/video/music viewer /manager program with p2p networking, as the POC for the new stuff. This perl based media player will be available for beta soon.
