I looked into SDL the latter half of 2003 (Tels may remember me contacting him at that time) and was not able to locate a package that would work. I see things have started rolling again and would like to get involved if possible at whatever level I'm able to. Time (mostly) and applicable skill set (possibly) are my limitations. While not by any means new to perl, I am new to SDL.
I'm working on various Win32 boxes, and have any number of Activestate perl versions installed. I've been to libsdl.org and downloaded the latest runtime and devel libraries and installed them. I've been following posts in this group for several days hoping to catch a good post on how to get it working, if it will at all, on my setup. I've been poking around the Build.pl script and module and have been unsuccessful in making it work. Does anybody have a good A.B.C. cookbook on how to get SDL_perl working for Win32? If not, a few pointers to get me started perhaps? thanks in advance. -TM
