There's also the fact that the 2.x API is different from 1.x,
to-the-date releases of FB don't support 2.x, and there is no other
application in distros using SDL_perl...

For the record, I've also witnessed that the bloody 1.20.3 in Debian
has API differences from 1.20.0 - given that I was multiple times
yelled at because after users of 1.20.3 didn't understand why FB
wasn't working anymore, I want to state that changing API inside a
sub-sub release is, in my very humble opinion, *bad*. I don't know if
this was tels mistake only, and if it was done on purpose, but I'm
curious to learn why this happened at all.

To prevent from future problems and as a sign of my willingness, the
upcoming new release of FB will be tested to be compatible with 1.20.0
and 2.1.3.
