Hi man!
hi!
I love what you've done with Perl SDL. Very nice work. And the
games.... I didn't know perl could do such wonders.
I have worked with perl for a couple of months and I got the the
graphics part Tk, OpenGL and now I wanted to test some of your SDL
sources.
Cool!
I am on a windows xp system, on my university i use Debian, but I
don't really know how to install the SDL library on the XP. I tried
everything I think i understood. Still no result.
Can you help me on this, kind of dumb issue?
Right so for windows we have SDL binary packages for you. Get the
latest Alien::SDL off CPAN. Also get the latest code for SDL perl
bindings from our github. The link is on http://sdl.perl.org/ . Also
we recommend strawberry perl for the easiest building on windows.
Finally checkout the docs on the sdl.perl.org site. They are more we
have to do but these docs should get you started.
Thanks a lot for your time!
All the best!
no problem and thanks.
