my take on the smoking thing.
don't worry YR head about it.
its his life. let him live it.
smoking is harmful to yr body and addictive.
its not an easy habit to kick.
we are all human.
of course i wish he didn't smoke..just for his own good.
but its all good.
but one more thing. stop justifying things.
just because a priest or some famous author did something..it doesn't make it right
..in the eyes of God or anyone for that matter.
i'm not saying smoking is right or wrong, altho i personally don't smoke and believe
smoking to be wrong.
but live yr own life. just don't make me breathe
yr 2nd hand smoke and i won't make you breathe mine.
i believe in God. i am a christian. we all make mistakes..

painful honesty.

And you're sharing your opinions on what Jeremy should or shouldn't do
because....?
Where in the Bible does smoking even come up? And that "body is a
temple" thing is crap....that particular verse is talking about immoral
sexual relations. However, even though it's not "wrong", it might be a
better decision for Jeremy NOT to smoke, since it is VIEWED as wrong,
and could trip up nonChristians and Christians alike...but, the guy's a
new Christian....cut him some slack. And who are we to tell him how to
live his own freaking life anyhow?
Just as an afterthought: CS Lewis(Great Christian theologian, author)
smoked a pipe. Yeah.

thinking
