Progressions *from* conversations about SDRE. Away from SDRE. If it is
not about Sunny Day then it should not be posted to the list. This isn't
a chat room or an open discussion forum - it's a list about SDRE and SDRE
only. There are other places for discussing things non-SDRE and this
isn't one of them.
I'm not telling you what you can and can't do in the real world, I'm
keeping the list on topic because there are things you can and can't do
here on the sdre-l. Do you spit in the eye of the legal system of
your country because it won't let you murder or steal? Do you yell at the
ref in a game of soccer for carding you because you have "the freedom" to
pick up the ball and run depite the fact that The Rules of soccer
specifically discourage this behavior? If I'm not mistaken the
author of the above quoted message is an AOL user. Doesn't AOL prevent
its users from using curse words? Why not scream and howl at them for
encroaching on your freedom of speech???
The subscribers of this list subscribed because they wanted info about
SDRE emailed to them. Many people unsubscribe each day because the
content of this list is often anything BUT SDRE. It is illogical to join
a list about Subject A and insist on discussing Subject B. Nobody should
have to put up with that injustice.
There are rules that we live by everywhere. The very same Constitution
that Edgejedi quotes for his dear freedoms also lays down rules that he
cannot break. There are rules everywhere, and there are rules here. If
you wan to pick up the ball and run, you're in the wrong game. Try Rugby
or american football.
