Hey everyone.
I just got back from spokane, and i gotta tell ya, the show was
inCREDible! They were even better than the other times i've seen them.
Well worth the drive.
I don't remember if the question as to whether or not SDRE was still
with Sub-Pop or not was ever definitively answered, but i got the chance
to ask Will about it after the show. He says that the deal is they are
no longer with Sub-Pop and they're trying to get a deal with Virgin
records. But Jeremy still has two more solo records he has to do to fill
his own Sub-Pop deal, which is apparently making things a little
strange. So that's the deal, straight from the drum-master's mouth.
Oh, and i also asked Jeremy when they would be playing in the Seattle
area again, and he said not for awhile. I get the strong impression that
after they get back from Europe, they'll be doing the new record and
then going out and doing shows again. But don't quote that as having any
backing, that's just my impression.
Well anyways, i gotta go sort thru the 113 mails this list gave me while
i was gone. =) Take care everyone!
