Yes yes yes, as "fun" as the vinyl dispute may be (I'm being heavily
sarcastic, note) it must come to an end. To Each His Own. I happen to be
one of those lame-o vinyl elitists. Just my personal pref. Doesn't make
me any more right than the other guy (actually, it does, but that's
another argument, hahah).
So SDRE is playing a show at the HUB in washington again. yay! Heard
something on the old horn about some potential shows with SONIC YOUTH
while doing a little california run. Maybe some shows in the general
hometown area in the northwest...Vancouver and such. There are just
potentialities. Nothing concrete yet.
And the rumored signing to Virgin is premature. Virgin is still in the
race, but now there are other big-name labels that are gallopping hard for
that prize. I'm sure SDRE will do nothing to be compromised by any of the
"suits."
