I can tell all of you with upmost certainity that Diary is not out of print. I
work at a record store and we sell about a copy a week of it (mostly from me
forcing it on people:). Sub pop is not going out of business, I just did an
order through them for the store and the women (lisa?) said that the rolling
stone article was completely blown out of proportion. They arent the richest
record company going these days but they aren't poor either. Usually when a
record store orders a cd it is through a wholesaler not the record company
directly. Whatever company that store that this rumor started from goes through
is probably out of it, not sub pop.
