hey all- i don't know how many of you are from seattle, but recently there was an article about Sub Pop published in a bi-weekly entertainment guide called The Rocket. No, the label isn't going out of business. In fact they are hoping to be making money w/in the next couple of years. They are trying to go back to their "rock" roots and have been signing new bands. Don't expect them to go anywhere for awhile. *Agnes* >Sub pop is not going out of business, I just did an >order through them for the store and the women (lisa?) said that the rolling >stone article was completely blown out of proportion. They arent the richest >record company going these days but they aren't poor either. Usually when a >record store orders a cd it is through a wholesaler not the record company >directly. Whatever company that store that this rumor started from goes through >is probably out of it, not sub pop
