are there any singers on this list?

I've been trying to develop my voice... i can't sing well.. and i was
wondering if there's any tricks or techniques
to develop that vibratto effect...

after singing along while listening to sdre, i can -almost- reach the
notes.. but it sounds so bad.

it would help a lot.
