i don't see why you wouldn't be able to.  this guy i used to work with (who 
was shocked that a girl could like sdre) has the little people from diary on 
his arm.  it was featured in savage magazine and the article even said that 
it was from diary. so to me it would seem that as long as you give credit 
where credit is due, then it would be no problem.  but i could very well be 
wrong.
