Okay, i'll give this one more try (the last time my e-mail was eaten). Anyway, i was just going to introduce myself a bit... i was on the list before for about a week, but i decided to use a more anonymous e-mail addy than i had. (I thought about sending a "please take me off the list" message to everyone, but then i thought 'naah, i'll just do it the easy way' ;] ) Well, i don't really know *that much* about SDRE... i joined the list when i happened upon the list-sign-up web page while looking up good bands- to see if anyone would be touring in my area this summer- anyway, my brain said "mmmmmmm, mail" and before i knew it, i was signed up. Which doesn't mean i only *sort-of* like the band, it's just financial constraints and whatnot have kept me from forming deeper relationships with their music (i'll remedy that as soon as i can). Other bands i like- beck, b&s, modest mouse (dance dance dance and go crazy!) Question: are we supposed to manually put the "[sdre-l]:" in the subject line? >what is the first SDRE song you ever heard [knowing it was SDRE]? "roses in water" (that's how much of a johnny-come-lately i am. <shrug>) but later i realized that they sang a bunch of songs that i had heard and liked very much, i just didn't know who was playing them, like "every shining time you arrive" -i spent so much time trying to figure out who sang it, and of course the djs sure never said who it was when they played it...
