Personally I find all three to be very different. I think the band managed
to "Go forth" or "Grow" or whatever but managed to keep their emo sound.
Diary struck me as flat out emo, but was done better than other emo I had
heard. LP2 was heavier in some respects, and I think the musicianship was
better. HIFTBSO struck me as a lighter tone and production with a bigger
lyrical base to choose and take from. Recap:
Diary = Emo core
LP2 = Hard core
HIFTBSO = Rock core
Unrelated topic: maybe a good idea for a poll would be not five favorite
bands but every band each lister has besides Sunny Day and add them up, then
release the Top 20 or whatever to the list.
