''Classic DC sound'' ??? Oh man... as a hostage of this wretched city for
some time now I've yet to hear a real _sound_ come out of DC sing early
post-punk. I mean, we've got a few bands that don't (mostly 'cause of
Baltimore) suck but other than go-go there's no DC sound. If there was one
it would, like most alt-culture anomalies that try to surface around here,
be drastically under-appreciated.

Speaking of the Nation's Crapital -- why am I hearing DC and SDRE uttered in
the same sentence? Where was I when they played here? Really... did I
blink and miss them fly through town? I've only seen them in Cali and
Oregon...
