I apologize in advance for this not having anything to do with Sunny Day, but
I have a puzzle I need to have solved before next Friday, and I'm utilizing
this list's distribution as a way to gather the pieces. When all the pieces
are together, I should have a grand picture of a large Gloriosa Lily. If
anyone from North Carolina is reading this I would appreciate your attention.

I am wondering if perhaps anyone will be attending the upcoming Merge Fest in
North Carolina next weekend at the Cat's Cradle? I will be clocking out as
soon as possible on Friday afternoon and heading to Carrboro from Orlando,
Florida. I have a few questions that would be good to know answers for, if
anyone has the correct ones.

1. Is it possible to get from Orlando to Carrboro before 10 o'clock that
evening, and if so how much time do you think it will take on the average,
and also what time do you recommend I pay my supervisor to let me go?

2. The Road Factor. Economics will play a huge part in this venture. I wish
to get to North Carolina as soon as possible, yet as economically pleasing as
possible. If you are an expert on East Coast road trips in the south, which
roads do you recommend I take to get there?

3. North Carolina. Once I get there, I will of course need directions to the
Cat's Cradle venue. If you are familiar with Chapel Hill and Carrboro, I'd
love to get your insight.

A special note to Chapel Hill or Carrboro kids. Due to the large hand the
bank keeps a stranglehold on my funds with, I will be trying my best to avoid
paying for a motel/hotel room. If anyone will be attending the show and has a
spare couch or space in the corner where I and a friend can stay for a few
hours on Friday night after Superchunk finishes rocking the foundations, I'd
be so very grateful to you. As stated above, apart from myself there is only
one other person, bringing our party up to a total of two people. We have our
own transportation, and I will be personally willing to purchase candy and
soda for anyone who can help us out with a place to stay.

We're the both of us very clean, orderly, responsible and appreciate the
humor of forming handshakes with friendly strangers. If you can help us out
or know of someone who can, or even if you know of a decent cost-effective
motel in the area that we can avoid spending the night amidst spiders and
cock roaches if we end up having to board as tenants for an evening, please
if you will, e-mail me privately at "[EMAIL PROTECTED]". We'll talk age,
suitability, directions and respect for the house rules. Once again, if
anyone can help, we're more than willing to jump at the chance to say thanks.

Please, anyone? I just want to see some music being made in honor of Merge's
10-year anniversary. Isn't that silly enough for good will?

Thanks.

Joshua.
