At the drive in definitely rawk, specially live. A double bill like that -Bluetip and ATDI-, hi energy emotion... And what about Bluetip? Theyre great, perhaps the most interesting band from DC -except Fugazi-, now that Kerosene 454 dont exist anymore. Jason Farrells an amazing frontman and "Join us" -produced by J Robbins- is one of the best records of the season "Never gonna get rid of this". You should all definitely check them out if you got a chance. Oh, and give my rewards to Remy, the french kid on the merchandising post, that lucky sonofabitch has made all of the west coast with them. ---------- > De: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > A: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Asunto: Re: [sdre-l]: glam - butt rock (NOT SDRE-related) > Fecha: lunes 2 de agosto de 1999 8:05 > > No this is not in reference to glam rock--I just got back from > At-the-drive-in and this is by far the best live show around right now and I > think maybe the best live show I have ever seen time and time again---i know > many people on this list have seen this show but I just want to stress once > more to please go check out At-the-drive-in if you get a chance in the next > couple of weeks--this band never ceases to amaze me everytime I see them--not > to mention it was a good 120 degrees in the club probably--they played for a > good solid hour set and cut it short basically because they said it was too > hot and I dont blame them--i would have passed out after the first song if it > was me--anyways they will be in the northeast for like 2 or 3 weeks with Blue > Tip so if you get the chance please go see this show--you cant help but get > into this show when you see it--sorry to ramble > Ryan
