I also heard this story about Joe quitting about a month ago. I can't
really say who told me but it was a very reliable source. The story that
Joe alledgedly has written to the list matches exactly what I heard, so
I'm leaning towards beleiving it was really Joe. Believe what you like of
course, there's infinite possibilities.
