I found the address to where all the posts to the list are archived. It is:

The archive goes back to the beginning of 1999, as far as i could find [go
to: the earlier messages link on the page, and keep going if you want to
find the beginning of last year]. It looks like it is updated periodically
every few days, or week, because the last post in there, that i found today,
was 2/2/00.
This could be added to the FAQ site, as well be helpfull for people who have
questions about subjects that they know to have already been discussed but
don't want to bring it up again.
