Just throwing out some thoughts of my own that are definitely supported from personal experience. Sunny Day has generally two types of fans, the fans from the early 90's that love Diary. The other fans grew from Diary and have been able to love every album since. These are the rabid fans you see at shows that knew HIFTBSO after it being out for 2 weeks or a month. They (me included) accept all of SDRE songs, and if not instantly, after 2 or 3 listens, the song is a part of your brain. It's a beautiful thing to connect with an album in such a way, and I think just from listening to Oceans that this album will be spectacular. One of the best things about SDRE is that they are not mainstream, which means they can put out the music they want to. There is the risk of losing fans but I think the hardcore fans will always follow the band through everything <DAVE> ===== "Don't take any guff from these swine"----Hunter S Thompson __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
