.....Though HIFTBSO was a great album, the basslines took a step down.
PLEASE do not let them drop any further......
I have to disagree with this statement. Nate wrote some great lines, but
the lines on hiftbso are beautiful and melodic and fit the songs perfectly.
Just listen to the sharks own private fuck or the prophet. or how the bass
and drums lock in together on roses in water and on how it feels...Jeff
Palmer's lines were definately worthy of sunny day and I think nate could
have done just as well, but there isn't any room for improvement. Just
remember that it isn't always what you play on the bass, but its whatyou
DON'T play that can make a song beautiful.
