ok, sorry it took so long to post the results of this poll (if anyone who
hasn't totally forgotten even gives a rat's ass anymore) but i've been
idiotically busy lately.

as a couple people said, and i'm sure everyone had in mind, everyone's
answers were very diverse and there really wasn't one "total majority"
answer. at the time i started this poll, there was a lot of "broo-ha-ha" so
to speak going on as far as everyone having a different opinion about the
live album, which album was their favorite, and SDRE bass players among
others. i think this poll shows that everyone has really diverse opinions on
even simple things, so let's try to keep our heads, shall we?

anyway, here's the results. i've arranged them in numerical order for the
ones that have multiple votes, but the ones that have only one are arranged
in album order, chronologically by album release and in track order, then by
time order for the individual songs and with b-sides coming first (can you
say "anal"?).

PILLARS - In the beginning where one guitar is just feeding back and
       the other guitar comes in

RODEO JONES - End
FRIDAY - Chorus [2]
THE BLANKETS WERE THE STAIRS - "Longing for your warm embrace"
THE PROPHET - Around 1:36 where the only thing happening is Jeremy's
scream then everything kicks back in and the song "grooves"
GUITAR AND VIDEO GAMES (LIVE) - Both Jeremy and Dan singing "How is it you
feel" with just one guitar behind it
J'NUH - Last chorus after the first "J'nuh" part where 'Jeremy screams
       with all his soul'
GUITAR AND VIDEO GAMES - "Looking for love and you wanna find peace
       and you find... me"
GRENDEL - The entire beginning section, with the Greek
THEO B - Bass in the beginning
IN CIRCLES - "Solo" part
ISCARABAID - When chorus comes in
WAFFLE - Last minute
THE PROPHET - Chorus
BUCKET OF CHICKEN - Chorus
THEO B - Last 10 seconds (I felt that this vote was different enough
from the "Heavy part at end" vote to get it's own line)
THE BLANKETS WERE THE STAIRS - Second chorus
RED ELEPHANT - When drums enter
THEO B - Verse
THE BLANKETS WERE THE STAIRS - Bridge ("Late again...")
GRENDEL - Entire song
DAYS WERE GOLDEN (LIVE) - Jeremy singing over drums in end after
       guitars drop out
ROUND - When Jeremy says "Round" the last time (higher than the other
       times)
100 MILLION - First "Who turned the light out"
ISCARABAID - When the song builds, then gets quiet, then goes to the
       chorus
TWO PROMISES - "How could you leave me here?'
IN CIRCLES - "I dream to heal your wounds, but I bleed myself"

ok, i paraphrased some people's answers and directly quoted others. thanks
for taking part in the poll, if you did, that is. there was one more
response that i saved for last, for obvious reasons.

thanks again,
jim

EVERY SECOND OF ANY SUNNY DAY REAL ESTATE SONG (which is what it all comes
down to in the end, isn't it?)
