My Fellow SunnyDay Junkies:

My name is Mike and i've been a SunnyDay fan for a while, but i'm
somewhat new to the list...I have posted a couple messages in the past
advocating the maturation of SDRE. My Favorite record in the entire world
was HIFTBSO...however, i have so much love toward the other albums
that i had a hard time saying that HIFTBSO was my favorite...
I have heard only the two songs off the new LP and i'm soooooo going
to wait for it and not bust it out early off of napster..."The Ocean" Mp3
although just a demo, was so rediculously incredible that i almost
fell over and died the first time i heard it...Jeremy's vox are stunning,
Dan's guitar parts are incredible appropriate and tasteful, and the BGV's
are solid (harmony wise, i hope they didn't change the harmony structure
when they re-recorded it, as someone suggested),and i really don't have
to say jack about Goldsmith,...the guy is just nuts!!!!!!!!

For those of you who thought the production sucked on the first 3 lp's...
please back away from the crack pipe for a sec and listen to the album
from the point of view of a musician...First of All, dont you realize that for
"Diary" and "LP2" that they didn't have the best studios in the world to
work with and with that said...they did a marvelous recording job for
their circumstances in each record....if we wanted we could find a flaw
in every recording...For instance, Limp Bizkit had all the best equiptment
in the world and they did a piss poor job on their recording (not to mention
the fact that they suck anyway, except for Wes Borland...he sooo should
not be in that band)...so instead of nitpicking their recordings we should
praise them for doing such a good job with the limited funds that they
probably had to work with...

Later,
Mike Wiegand
