Never has a truer statement been uttered than the one I'm about to make
about Rising Tide, and I hope others who have heard it can back me up on
this one:

LISTENING TO THE TRACKS IN ISOLATION ISN'T GOING TO CUT IT. This album
BEGS to be taken as a whole. Even though many of the songs are intense
psychedelic scorchers, they lose ALOT of their appeal in isolation from
one another. In fact, I'd say a song like "Television" might even LOSE
its appeal if not taken in the context of the whole album.

Be forewarned: Napster-ing the album track-by-track is gonna SUCK THE
BIG ONE, especially if you're not wanting to be spoiled on the whole
thing, because the album needs to be digested all at once.

Just a thought or two.
