well, my anxiousness got the best of me and i downloaded the new album from
napster. i've only gotten to listen to it once so far, so i'm gonna hold off
much judgement til i get a chance to hear it a few more times, but on first
impression i like it a LOT. i can't see how anyone who likes SDRE could not
like it. a great mix of heavy songs and softer songs. reminiscent of
everything SDRE's ever been, while still being new and different. so yeah,
it's good. =) as i said before, i'm still definitely buying it when it comes
out.
i was thinking....it seems like a pretty good number of people on the list
have copies of the album in some way or another. so maybe if everyone who
has copies took part in trying to figure out lyrics, it could be done pretty
quickly. i figure if everyone who has copies of the album took one or two
songs to figure out, that would be a cool way to go. so respond to me if
you're interested in doing this, and once it's done i can post the results
or whatever you wanna call em to the list, or put them up somewhere for
people to go look at. i think it'll also be interesting when the album comes
out (assuming it includes lyrics) to see just how wrong we all were. =P
