Sorry to bother so many people, but I've had the album for about a week (i
won it in the survey) and i am still extremely disapointed with the artwork.
The design is cool and all but the montage just does not cut it for me. I
would have thought that the group would continue(like Sonic Youth) to put
great 'high' art work in their albums. I can't imagine Diary or HIFTBSO
without Chris Thompson's art.

Another thing i hear about the album is that aside from the production
aspects (get over it, just imagine how much better HIFTBSO would be with
some decent production, especially on the drums) that the band doesn't sound
passionate about the new songs. I fear that with the disappearance of
Jeremy's screaming people have it in their minds that Jeremy is not as
passionate or emotive as he used to be while singing. Just because a singer
does not scream to emphasize anger or sadness does not mean that the passion
is not there. The Rising Tide is one of the best albums i've heard in the
past 2 years and I think that it is beautiful and emotive in every way that
there is, AND JEREMY DOES NOT SCREAM ONCE! I wont give my full review of the
album as it is at the best SDRE Website (nexusx.com/sdre).

If youve read this far thanks for hearing my concerns. Please respond about
anything. See you at the Chicago show!
