Wow! Last night was Sunny Day's show in Cleveland and I was so excited I almost got sick (the fact that it was like, 300 degrees in the Odeon didn't help either). The set list was basically the same as it has been everywhere so far. The Ocean sounded really pretty and J'Nuh completely rocked. I almost started sobbing during In Circles because it was so awesome. There were requests, of course, for 7, 48,Bucket of Chicken, and probably more but I can't recall them. They didn't say too much in between songs except for the usual thank yous. One highlight of the show was when some guy yelled to Dan that he wanted to have his baby... from what I've noticed from other people's posts, it seems like at every show someone propositions one of the band members. This was only my second SDRE show, so I don't really have much to compare it to but this is the best I've ever heard them play. It was easily the greatest concert I have ever seen in my entire life. I couldn't get over how absolutely intense they are...for the most part I just sort of stood there smiling like a dork. I'm still completely awestruck. Seeing Sunny Day live is such an incredible experience...the hard part is having to wait probably another two years before I can see them again:( Before the concert, I was a little unsure about The Rising Tide, I couldn't decide if I liked it as much as their other work. After hearing them play much of it live though, I feel so much better about it. It's all so beautiful! (sorry, me being a dork again) By the way, the strangest thing about the show was that I got the feeling that I was the only person from Ohio there- everyone around me was from New York or Pennsylvania. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
