Hey list, here's the latest from the new EW: Sunny Day Real Estate - The Rising Tide (time bomb) The Trio's bombastic dream-pop--which momentarily brightened the dreary mid '90's grunge landscape - now seems irritatingly irrelevant. Still, a few tracks, notably the sublime "Rain Song" and evocative "Disappear" prove why the band were once considered arena-rock contenders. But afteronly a few tracks, the nostalgic kick wears off, and the band's bloated riffs quickly turn tiresome. Time to unload this real estate.
