hey everyone. i've been on this list for a while
now, but never posted before. mainly because i didn't have anything to
share. anyways, my cousin and i saw sunny day in athens, ga on the 15th. after
the show, we hung around behind the 40 watt and got to talk to jeremy for about
30 mins. the reason for the smoke free shows is because dan's wife is pregnant.
since she handles the merchandise sales, she has to be in the venues, and
basically being around all that smoke is bad for the baby. also, for all
the people who have been bitching about them not playing older stuff, and mainly
playing stuff from TRT, jeremy mentioned several reasons. one is that they're
out trying to promote the new album, so they're playing a lot of their new
stuff. but also, since they have the new bass player and the
keyboardist/guitarist, they just didn't have time to teach the new guys all the
older stuff. but jeremy added that they hope to tour again after they finish
their current tour, and on the second one they'll probably play a more balanced
set of their material. anyways, hope this answered a few questions.
