First off, i would like to thank all of you who have read my post on sdre and the mainstream and responded both negatively and positively. U2. I really dont hate the band and am a fan of most of their stuff, but was petrified, as im sure some fans of the band, were when Pop came out. i dont care for anything on that album at all, buts thats just my opinion. The reason i used U2 as my example was that at the time i could not think of a better band to name. Perhaps naming a singular band at all was blind error by myself and should have never been done, but the past is not welcome to being changed and what i said is what i said. The generalizations were not directly intended to be of U2. That was my fault completely and i should have recognized that some people would interpret that as a criticism of U2. I was just trying to give the consequences of what happens to bands who do in all actuality sell out and have their image and passion change. . . . I will forever pronounce it from the highest mountain that SDRE is in my opinion the singular best touring band in the country. However, this is just my opinion and people are free to believe what they will, by whatever means . . . Anyways that is about all I can account for right now, my heart felt message still applies to the post but i think in hindsight i could of probably chosen some better examples to channel my message. The passion in my heart will never leave for this band because of the passion they put into my heart whenever i hear their music. I hope SDRE succedes in their ambitions.
