Ok, I just got off of the phone w/ by buddy Andy who was just spending the
last 2 weeks in thw Seattle / Portland area. For those of you who don't
know... CMJ is happening there right now. There is a deadly band called
Juno who played at the Croc the other night. I guess they all showed up &
everyone learned that their bass player quit a few weeks prior (what a
fool, Juno is amazing... kind of a little like Swervedriver if that helps
out at all...). ANYWAYS... this "guy" walks on & plugs into the bass amp
provided & they go through the set with this "fill in" bass player. Before
the last song, my friend hears, "Thanks to everyone for coming out tonight,
& a special thanks to our friend Nate for coming out to play with us
tonight..."
I can't FREAKING believe that my buddy got to see that!!!!!!! So if anyone
has that show, or knows of someone who has access to a videoed copy... for
christsakes email me!!!!
It was last week, maybe Friday? Thursday? @ The Crocodile in Seattle.
Yeah. unreal.
