Hey guys,
I know im gonna hear it for saying this but I actually LIKE Dave Mathews
Band. I have never seen him in concert but I have heard nothing but
extrodinary things about his shows. I don't nessasarily want to see Sunny
Day in an arena/stadium type setting, nor would I want to see Sunny Day and
Dave at the same time but it (imho) would not be a bad show by any means. I
feel like if you are a fan of good music (in general and not just exclusive
to one genre, ie: "indie rock") then you most likely can at least apprieciate
his musicianship. Anyway, thats just my opinion... I figure I am going to
listen to whatever I want, and if the mindless majority of pop music
consumers like Dave too then, good for them. You have to remember that Dan,
Jeremy, and Will have great taste and I couldn't imagine them selling out
just for exposure. They wouldn't play with anyone they didn't want, too.
I dunno, it just wouldn't be the end of the world like some people are making
it out to be. I mean, it's not like they're gonna open for Kid Rock or some
crap like that... sorrry all you Kid Rock fans ;) heh heh...
Anyway... just trying to be positive ;)
