Yeah, I heard the same "rumor."  I'm actually pretty sure its for real.
The person I heard it from writes for a music column and reviews shows.
She said it was on the list she was reading.  Its supposedly scheduled for
Oct. 31, haloween, at the orpheum theater.  I guess that follows suit with
their show at the VIC in Chicago.  Let's hope its for real.
