Well, what can I say ...

Myself and two friends drove 4 hours from Atlanta to see this show. Me
and one of my friends are pretty hardcore SDRE fans and the other friend
was just along because we told him it would be a great show. We hung
around Nashville for a while, got some food, checked out the town, but
it was pretty boring.

The club was pretty much a hole in the wall. Nothing fancy at all. A
good-sized anteroom with a small bar and a good place for merch, and the
main room was just a wide open moderately sized room with a stage raised
a few feet. Acoustics weren't bad at all. And it was nicely loud. :)

Anyway ... the show was amazing. More intense than any other show I've
been to, including past SDRE shows. They played 7, 48, Song About an
Angel, In Circles, J'Nuh, Pheurton Skeurto (which is much better live
than on the album), ESTYA, Pillars, The Prophet, 100 Million, and some
of the best tracks off of Rising Tide, like the Ocean, Faces in
Disguise, One, Killed by an Angel, and the title track.

Altogether, they played for about 1:45. It was amazing. I've never
seen them so happy. Jeremy was just out of his mind up there. It was
like he was the only one on stage. And he was way more talkative than
usual.

Some high points: (mostly paraphrased)
After a big round of folks yelling songs ("Bucket of Chicken!" "Red
Elephant!"), Dan says, "I'm glad you remember all our old songs. We're
going to play as many as possible for you tonight."

Dan: "We relearned a lot of songs for this tour. Here's one of them.
It's called Song About an Angel."

Dude in the audience: "You guys are better than sex!"
Dan: "Um ... I don't know about that, dude."

Dan: "We know a lot of you came a long way to see us tonight, and we
appreciate the dedication, so this one is for you guys."
Starts playing The Ocean...

And finally, 2nd song of the encore...
Jeremy: "This is the 7th song we ever wrote..."

As far as emotional points, the Ocean, SAAA, and Seven were just
amazing. Lots of crying, screaming, and stunned happiness in the crowd.

If any of you out there are trying to decide whether to take a road trip
to go see them, just go. It's worth it. They're not going to be in a
lot of cities, obviously, so go however far you have to to see them.
