Ok i just got back to school from my short trip homw to see sunny day last
night. The place was packed! Neither I, my friend, or Dan (he said so on
stage) had any idea there were that many sunny day fans in
rochester. Anyway, we were standing around at about quarter after nine,
wondering where euphone was, thinking there was no way sdre was going to
be on at 10:15 (thats when jeremy told my friend they'd be on, earlier in
the day) when Will comes out on stage. He tells the crowd that the drummer
from euphone had nearly cut his finger off the prevoius night and that
they couldn't play. Will then told the crowd that they had found someone
to play, and he brings out Walter Palmer, an old man that plays accordian
outside baseball games, and who had been outside the club while everyone
was waiting to get in. He played for about 15 minutes, including some
timeless classics like take me out to the ballgame and thats amore.
Anyway, sunny day came out at exactly 10:15, and totally rocked
the place out. It was especially awesome considering I had never seen them
before july 4th, being a youth stuck in rochester. Jeremy and Dan seemed
appreciative of the crowd, maybe even a touch surprised there were so many
people there. Instead of shouting song numbers, some people shouted
"walter", to which Jeremy responded, "yeah, you miss walter, don't you?"

If anyone made a recording of this show (preferably including walter's
set) or knows someone who has one, please contact me. If you don't want to
upload it, I will be happy to trade a bunch of stuff for it.

As for Ernesto's idea of a trade tree, i think thats a good idea. I would
totally be willing to make cdr's of the rare/live stuff I have for those
who can't download it.
