I read this article as well, and I wondered about that comment myself.
On another SDRE subject:
Personally, I think the Rising Tide is a wonderful step in SDRE's evolution.
No band has ever (at least to my knowledge) stuck with the exact same sound
for all of their albums. I think that would get too repeditive.
There are only a few groups that I can think of where I loved ALL their
albums: Radiohead, Clutch, Helmet, Quicksand, Hum, Promise Ring, Pixies, and
SDRE.
Lastly, I think Jeremy, Will, and Dan make an excellent trio, and I can't
wait to see where they take their sound next.
