Hi all. I just joined the mailing list to
tell you all that I've successfully created a newsgroup for SDRE. As of
right now (12:53 am, 1/5/01), the group exists on at least one of the big news
servers (news.prodigy.net), and will most likely find its way onto many others
as well.
If you're interested, take a look at the list of
newsgroups provided by your ISP (or ISP's news server, more specifically).
If you don't see Sunny Day's, reset the list, and make sure to let it download
*all* of the available newsgroups. If you still don't see it, request your
ISP to include it on their news servers, they will more often than not do so
effortlessly. It is called:
alt.music.sunny-day-real-estate
I'm hoping the name is not too long, as it may be
overlooked by some servers. If this is the case, I'm sure we can make an
alt.music.sdre or something similar. Or just get rid of the dashes.
We'll see if that's a problem.
