Hey All,
I'd love to host SOME shows in SHN. But the bottom line is that they are
huge, and I wouldn't be able to host more than a few myself (maybe 5 or 6
full shows).
If we're going to set up something like the Peal Jam SHN network, count me
in as a host. If a few more people went in and helped out, it could
definitely be a good thing. We'd need organization though, and maybe 5 or
6 servers the size of my FTP server (relatively speaking, 5 or 6 people
serving 5 or 6 shows each).

You're right, adam, another thing that would be awesome would be for the
people who recorded the shows to do the transfer to SHN in the case that
an archive of this type could be set up. I have a couple of contacts that
might be interested in doing something like this, and at the very worst,
low-gen copies of a couple of shows (minidisc->cd-r) that i could start
with.
Additionally, I'd be willing to host the web-page dedicated to such a
network. I have a feeling John (In The Blue) DeSpirito might be interested
in that part of the project as well.
Anybody interested in getting something like this going, Who could supply
an FTP that's up at least 75% of the time, or could donate SHN's, contact
me off-list and we'll get underway. Adam, I'm looking at you, at least, to
get involved! :)
