Hi - Sony Computer Entertainment America (Playstation) is currently searching for a Sr On-line Engineer for our team in San Diego.
The Sr On-line Engineer will: Develop title-specific features using Ruby on Rails and Merb. Participate in the design, specification, and development of applications to support online games. Develop front-end web screens in XHTML, CSS, and Prototype (Ajax) to support community websites. Expand the social networking features of our technology. Integrate our technology with sites such as Facebook, YouTube, and Flickr. The Sr On-line Engineer will have: Experience developing professional web-based applications using Ruby on Rails 1.2 or later. Experience with Merb a plus. In-depth understanding of XHTML, CSS, XML, REST, and Ajax. Experience with web design, object-oriented programming and relational databases, preferably Oracle.
