Job Description: • Manage, develop, integrate and implement related application components, including front-end development and server-side integration • Collaborate with the development team on our hosted services and system architecture and priorities • Design, develop, debug and maintain a wide-variety of server-side applications for a growing user base • Serve as technical lead on server projects Requirements: • At least 4 years server side development experience in an E-Commerce, environment • Programming experience in a Linux, Unix environment using scalable, high capacity, content management systems • Familiarity with Activerecord associations • Familiarity with Ruby development • Java and J2EE experience is a plus • Technical expertise in php, perl, ruby on rails, MySql, MP3, Audio, Video, Codecs • Knowledge of common Internet protocols (HTTP, FTP, HTTPS) required • Experience creating design patterns • Web services (particularly REST) • SQL and MYSQL optimization • Standards based HTML/CSS • Proficient in Object Oriented Design/Development Chumby Industries Inc. offers competitive salary, stock options, benefits, 401k, vacation and the ability to work in a creative, smart, team environment with cutting edge tools and technology while revolutionizing the WiFi world.
