I am posting a brief job description. The location is Newport Beach, CA with an opening as soon as we find the right candidate Senior Ruby Software Engineer will lead architecture design, implementation and testing of an enterprise administration platform. The platform will consist of access control, collaboration, reporting, and data-warehousing. Candidate must be able to provide solid technical insight and leadership in areas of agile development, product architecture, functional design, integration strategies, system performance, scalability, UI usability, and overall corporate development practices. Candidate must have experience developing commercial software products, enterprise level solutions, and large scale consumer web applications in areas such as reporting engines, data warehousing, ACL, plugin architectures, and CSS/HTML compliant standards. Qualifications: • BS in Engineering or Computer Science • At least 2 years in Ruby programming • At least 4-5 years with MySQL and MS SQL Server • At least 5+ years experience with object oriented programming and design patterns • Ability to efficiently multi-task, prioritize tasks and implement action plans • Must have experience installing, compiling, and troubleshooting on Linux systems • Must have extensive knowledge in Transact-SQL (MSSQL) and MySQL • Must be able to diagnosis and solve application / database performance issues • Must have knowledge building secure web applications - Transport Layer Security (TLS) - Countermeasures for XSS, CSRF, Session Fixation, SQL Injections, Ajax Injections, etc… Preferred (but not required): • Experience in Online Gaming Industry • Experience integrating online billing solutions (credit card processing, PayPal, etc…) • Experience with Amazon web services • Experience with git • Startup experience Benefits Package: • Stock Options • Medical, Vision, and Dental benefits - Great PTO --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ SD Ruby mailing list [email protected] http://groups.google.com/group/sdruby -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
