This is a typical example of what seems likely to be an absolutely dreadful job:

- Non-programmer HR androids apparently messing with recruiting -
programmers don't presume to do finance or marketing recruitment, what
gives those jerks the rights to interfere with developers?
- Firm needs someone "ASAP" - why? They can't take the time it takes
to find good talent?
- What is Hyperion Essbase? Some proprietary database from Oracle,
judging by the Wikipedia article? Uh. Ew?
- What does this have to do with Rails or Ruby?
- Who came up with requiring 10 years of IT experience, 5 of that in
some enterprisey nonsense? What do you learn in year 5 that you don't
know in year 4?

Do recruiters actually think people are honest about spending X years
with Z? Why start out an employee-employer relationship with a lie?

Also, the stock photo of excited-business-guy-with-laptop on
http://intellisofttech.com/ should set off warning bells as well.
Actually the entire site is covered with irrelevant, pointless stock
photos.

I'm not picking on this person in particular, it's just a typical
example of why 90% of software jobs suck. For all I know this is a
fantastic, fulfilling job.
