I'm a fan of vendoring everything. That way all dependencies are
explicit and in version control. It makes deploying to any server
require only minimal configuration as well. I came to this position by
reading http://errtheblog.com/posts/50-vendor-everything and then
encountering enough of these small hassles to be convinced. Just
wanted to share some arguments in favor of vendoring. Also, it's super
easy with `rake gems:unpack:dependencies`.
