Data Warehousing is actually quite a broad category including MDM, PLM, 
and BI to name just a few. I have been working with OpenESB and Mural 
using NetBeans tools and these could easily be hooked into a Rails 
application. I guess it depends mostly on what you expect to gain from 
the use of a Data Warehouse versus a standard database schema. Most 
solutions accommodate your choice of a back-end database server. These 
are Enterprise solutions and perhaps an overkill for a typical Rails 
application.
