I have not upgraded to snowleopard yet, but I've always had the success with the following install options:
sudo gem install mysql -- --with-mysql-include=/opt/local/include/mysql5/mysql/ --with-mysql-lib=/opt/local/lib/mysql5/mysql/ And, if that doesn't work, try the mysqlplus gem (for ruby 1.9) sudo gem install mysqlplus -- --with-mysql-include=/opt/local/include/mysql5/mysql/ --with-mysql-lib=/opt/local/lib/mysql5/mysql/ Of course, modify for x86_64 Peter On Tue, Sep 1, 2009 at 5:50 AM, Javan Makhmali<[email protected]> wrote: > > First, make sure you install the new Xcode from the snow leopard dvd > or download from apple.
