At work I use Apple's magic mouse: http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB829?mco=MTAyNTQzODI with a standard Apple keyboard but at home I use the wireless keyboard http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC184LL/A?fnode=MTY1NDA1Mg&mco=MTM0OTAwMzM
Both products are bluetooth meaning that you won't need to install a dongle on your laptop. Pros: integrate well with Apple, same button mapping, scrolling, gestures, % battery displayed.. great products Cons: batteries, you will need to change the batteries every 3 months or so depending on the usage. And let's not forget cost. - Matt On Sun, Mar 21, 2010 at 7:15 PM, Unnsse Khan <[email protected]> wrote: > This isn't Ruby specific but I figure this user group could help me gain > insight with my inquiries... > > Am a Java and Ruby developer who uses a MacBook Pro (running Snow Leopard) > for development purposes... > > Figured this group would know the answers to my questions because many > Rubyists are Apple users. > > I use a brand new 15" MacBook Pro at work where I connect to an 24" Acer > Monitor and Logitech keyboard and Logitech mouse using a wireless receiver > which connects to one of my USB ports on my laptop.
