Dearest San Diego, Given logging output like "Completed in 942ms (View: 183, DB: 32) | 200 OK ..." where obviously 32ms were spent fiddling around in the db, and 183ms were spend rendering partials and other view related gumpf, what accounts for the missing 727ms in this example?
Is this time spent inside the controller action and before filters? Time spent loading Rails (this is taken from a development environment)? Or let me ask this another way, what is the calculation behind the 942ms number?
