To keep things coordinated, just email the group with a list of whatever you're planning to bring and who's coming. That way, we hope to wind up with the right number of hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, salads, vegetable trays, deserts, beers, bottles of wine, sparkling cider, etc. The venue is the home of Scott Olmsted and his wife, Barbara. They will provide the barbecue, coolers with ice, disposable plates and utensils, napkins, mustard, ketchup, and relish. Not far from the coast, it can be cool in the evening in Encinitas, even in August (and it's been quite cool this year), so having a sweater or jacket is perhaps not a bad idea.
