I know everyone here is probably all about Rails, but Ruby Watir is legit too.
We are kicking off a test automation project and are looking for a Ruby/Watir expert to lead that. This is a programming role - automation of web front-end with database manipulation and interaction with embedded and wireless devices. This is *real* programming. And we pay *real* money, not the promises of eventual pay plus equity that seem to be prevalent on job related posts here! ;-) The company is On-Ramp Wireless. We are a venture and private equity backed wireless startup in Rancho Bernardo. We like to think of ourselves as the "Qualcomm of smartgrid" since we have key patents on a novel wireless approach that is far ahead of the competition in very low power consumption smartgrid and other "green" applications. We're building a suite of network management and enterprise integrations and Ruby Watir will be used to automate, automate and automate. If you are looking for a challenging FT opportunity coding in Ruby, get in touch! Thanks, Joe. http://www.onrampwireless.com/ -- SD Ruby mailing list [email protected] http://groups.google.com/group/sdruby
