+1 on all the topics suggested so far -- Also, Ive been using Coffeescript on quite a few projects, including iPhone/mobile and standard web apps. Its best feature is it helps me organize the code and reason about the problem domain in a way that I was never able to with POJS (Plain Ol' Javascript). People are usually drawn to Ruby in part by the beautiful syntax, and Coffeescript tries to bring that same 'Joie de vivre' to JS.
For this Thursday's meeting I'd be happy to share some of our techniques for using it.
